Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 June 2026
This Privacy Policy sets out how we handle the personal data connected with the services we provide. The data controller is Bite Club Ltd, registered at 1 Snack Lane, London. We are committed to keeping your personal data confidential and secure, and to using it in accordance with applicable law and this policy.
1. How to contact us
For any question about how we handle your personal data, you can reach us by email at privacy@biteclub.com, by phone on +44 20 7946 0000, or by post at Bite Club Ltd, 1 Snack Lane, London.
2. Selling & delivering your order
Legal basis: performance of a contract. To identify you, sell and deliver your order, we process your first and last name, mobile number, email, and delivery address (city, street, house or building, flat number and postcode). This data is collected when you complete the order or registration form. If you create an account, we also store data relating to your previous purchases.
3. Reminders about an unfinished order
Legal basis: legitimate interest. If you start an order but do not complete it, we may send a service email to the address in your order details within 72 hours. The purpose is to check that no technical problem prevented you from finishing your order.
4. Rewards programme
Legal basis: consent. When you join our rewards programme you agree that we process the data needed to give you extra discounts, bonuses and the chance to win snack prizes — namely your name, email, phone number and address provided in the programme form. We keep rewards members’ data for 3 years after membership ends, and may invite you to renew before it expires.
5. Email newsletters
Legal basis: consent. To receive news and special offers, you agree to us processing your email and/or phone number so we can send you the latest information. You can unsubscribe at any time from the newsletter settings in your profile. We keep your consent and related contact details for 3 years from the day consent was given, and may ask you to renew it before that period ends.
6. Improving our marketing
Legal basis: consent. To run our marketing more effectively we use tools such as Google Analytics and email and personalisation services, which help us collect data about how you interact with our website, ads, offers and newsletters. This data is gathered through tracking technology and cookies on our site and our partners’ platforms (for example Google and social networks). It helps us understand your interests and offer products and updates that suit you better. You can object to the use of these tools at any time by contacting us, though we may then be unable to provide their benefits.
7. When you contact us
Legal basis: legitimate interest. When you get in touch, you agree that we process your name, email, phone number and any other information you choose to share. We keep this data for no longer than 2 months from the day we receive it.
8. How long we keep your data
How long we keep your data depends on the purpose and legal basis for processing, taking into account legal retention periods, the time needed to protect our or others’ legitimate interests, the time needed to deliver and record your purchases, and the validity period of any consent. If you are a registered user, your purchase history may be kept for up to 5 years so you can access information about your orders. We may keep data longer only where the law allows — for example during an investigation, to resolve a dispute or complaint, or for backups and system maintenance.
9. Sharing data with third parties
We share your data with third parties only where this policy or the law allows, only with trusted parties, and only as far as necessary — for example to maintain our IT systems, to deliver services through payment providers, banks and couriers, to run marketing through agencies and email tools, to comply with the law or a request from authorities, or to protect our legitimate interests. We never sell your personal data.
10. Where we process your data
Other than the exceptions below, we process your personal data within the EU/EEA. For cookies, payment administration or marketing, some data (such as your IP address, location, cookies, browser or device settings and browsing activity) may be sent outside the EU/EEA. Any such transfer is carried out with the required safeguards in place, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful basis.
11. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you provide at registration and in your profile, and for the consequences of any false information, such as an incorrect delivery address or phone number. If you have an account, you can change, update or delete your details at any time in your account settings. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure, and we are not liable for harm caused if you handled them carelessly. Please tell us immediately if your login details become known to others; we may block your access if we believe a third party is acting maliciously in your name, and will inform you of any such decision.
12. Your rights
You have the right to be informed about the data we process, to ask us to correct inaccurate data, to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, to object to processing based on our legitimate interests, to ask us to erase your data (the right to be forgotten), to ask us to restrict processing, and to have data you provided under consent ported to you or, where technically possible, to another controller. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us.
13. Complaints & changes
If you believe we are processing your data in breach of data-protection law, please contact us first — we will do our best to resolve your concerns. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. If you have further questions, email us at privacy@biteclub.com.
